Everybody must have hidden place for himself or herself. When you feel out of place and want to take some solitary moment, where would you go?
Last time in UI, my favorite site, there are a lot of solitary places to hide from.
If I feel mad or sad, I used to have a quiet trip to Danau Balairung, sitting at the edge of river. Whew, I almost forget how it looks like. But it is a nice campus, beautiful at day, scary at night. At this lake, we can see a lot of things. Tiny frogs and half frogs in metamorphosis phase are the ones I remember the most. I liked to go there spending time when I supposed to be at class or just killed some free time.
Or, when I felt less lazy and had resource like bike, I went for a wild ride around the campus. It was a tough route; I had to use all my constipation strength to climb a wavy road, only to find I might lose control when it came down. I remember I was chased by four half-crazy dogs at dawn near remote UI’s library. Half-crazy dogs, what did I do to provoke them. I was only look at them, giggling and they went mad. Huh.
Or, when I had more money, I’d go to Timezone. Heheh. Played with my good friend during PA5, Nina, or with my bother, or alone.
If it was nighttime, I just turned off my light, laying awake and listened to my dorm’s noise, TV, conversations etc.
Seems like I had a lot of anger and sorrow during that time, so that I had a lot of getting-out ways. Well, teenager. Yawn.
The best part of the week was getting home or getting out on weekends. I kind of regret that I didn’t do much of Kapa’s activities, my university outdoors organization, not enough. I miss the activities and the friends I had there much. Although we still keep in touch, I can’t go with them as I like. We are in different place, and I will become old bloody member between those new bloods. There was one very interesting offer with those all old friends though, sailing for 3 months. I don’t know how they managed to do it. I’d love to, but I have to make my kitchen smokes. :) If I had gone, my boss would have sacked me for sure.
Although I sacrificed most of the things I wanted to do in order to go home, I think I would do the same if I had the chance to repeat again. Went home was always a good option, although I had to spend at least good three hours for the journey. I remembered few times I spent almost five hours on the road, from Saturday morning to noon. I even thought to myself, what the hell am I doing scaling five hours to go home for one and a half day?
But it was all worth it the moments I saw my dogs, after I opened the gate, I got to fight to avoid their paws landing on my neck and shirt. They were very excited and didn’t hesitate to show it. I had two options; I could run all the way to the main door, or hugged and played with them for a while, and, but, still had to run all the way to the main door.
These two dogs, male and female were named Bonni and Kiki, hehhehehe…cute. My neighbor also had male and female dogs, named Boi and Kopi. You see, simple names are enough for dog. You can name them Contanzaza or Shakespeare, but end up call them with Bleki. Bleki works for all dogs if you don’t know their name. :) I met a big Siberian Husky in Bells Beach, Victoria. He was waiting for his owner, who was surfing. I knew he must be an English speaking dog with name cooler than mine, but he didn’t resist when I called him Bleki and played with him. He was huge, but soft spoken, hehehhehe.
So, talking about Bonni and Kiki, I was hoping to get puppies from them. But Bonni had a one sided love. He was a handsome dog with strong figure and long eyelashes, a very adorable male. He looked very much like a fine Labrador or shorthaired Golden Retriever, but his love was rejected by Kiki, my average looking female dog. Kiki was small built, with black snout and twisted ears. Boi, the neighbor’s male dog, lost his wife due to car accident and with him, Kiki had an affair. Boi dag a hole between the fence and came at night to date her. Of course Bonni was very jealous and hurt, they fought every night during mating season. Bonni was a good fighter but Boi was a veteran dog, so they equaled with each other but gave good scars to their opponent. It was depressing to see this love triangle. We closed the hole, Boi made another. What to say, it was only soil instead of pavement. So, during my school holiday, I stayed up almost every night to protect my poor Bonni, he had so many scar in his face, I was afraid he would bitten in his eyes one day. Of course I sided with Bonni, although he was the one who wrong, but what did he know about etiquette? He had only one choice and he couldn’t have it. :)
It is dangerous to separate two dogs in fight; the only safe way is to spray water on them. That was what I did; I also took my dad’s wind gun to scare Boi away. Hmph…mating season. So tiring. :D
I wonder where Bonni and Kiki had gone after the riot. F*** rioters.
Of course except my dogs, I loved to see my family, and had warm meals. There was one very memorable time when I had to leave the house on Monday morning. It was Christmas, and we had to leave before the sun rose. So, in the darkness, I saw the Christmas tree with sparkling lights and Christmas instrumental. It was nice. My parents are Buddist but they bought a Christmas tree for us. First year we didn’t have accessories, so we hung it with angpau :)
I watched C&CF, it was a good one. Although Willy Wonka was sooo MJ, but Johnny Deep was good. Like him since Pirates and Chocolate.
Rant. Why everyone thinks Orlando Bloom is hot? He is sooo gay. End of rant.
